SETTING: BOOK SHOP,  HOUSE

 

CHARACTERS: MOTHER, ISSABELLA PELLASTELLA

 

 

BOOK SHOP:

 

ISSABELLA PELLASTELLA: "-But I yearned for that book!" (sad)

 

MOTHER: "And why do you yearn for it?" (raising eyebrows)

 

ISSABELLA PELLASTELLA: "It'll tell me how to fly!" (smiling)

 

MOTHER: "They just do that to earn money." (widen eyes)

 

ISSABELLA PELLASTELLA: "Then can I read it for fun?" (sly look)

 

MOTHER: "Alright!" (happy)

 

NARRATER: So Issabella's mother didn't know she was going to follow what the book said and try to fly. Back at home, Issabella was reading the book that her mother had bought her.

 

 

HOUSE:

 

ISSABELLA PELLASTELLA: "Okay here it goes. Flap your arms like am bird. Then squat down. Next, jump, up from your squating and imagine that you are a bird.  I'll try. 1,2,3!" (closing eyes)

 

MOTHER: "Issabella! Where are you? Issabella? You're on the table flapping like a bird!" (confused)

 

ISSABELLA PELLASTELLAL: "I am? I thought I was flying!" (very confused)

 

NARRATER: Issabella's mother then realised Issabella had tried to fly but couldn't do it. But all of a sudden, something happened.......

 

 

ISSABELLA PELLSTELLA: "Awww." (disapointed)

 

MOTHER: "Uhhh, Issabella, look at yourself!" (covering mouth)

 

ISSABELLA PELLSTELLA: "Whahan?! I'm hovering in the air! How? (widen eyes)

 

MOTHER: "I think it's the book I bought. I didn't know that following it would make you fly." (staring in amazement)

 

ISSABELLA PELLASTELLA: "Now, mom, can you read to me how to get down? I'm getting sorta bored up here. (raising eyebrows)

 

MOTHER: "All right. Here it goes. Imagine that you are a human, walking on the street. Make your legs look like they are walking. Keep doing that until you start lowering." (looks up)

 

ISSABELLA PELLASTELLA: "Here I go. I feel myself lowering. I'm gonna stop."  (stops imagining)

 

MOTHER: " Well! That was strange." (amazed)

 

ISSABELLA PELLASTELLA: "That sure was!

 

NARRATER: The end.
