Yesterday, my mom told me that Japan had a big earthquake and tsunami. She said the earthquake  happened in the ocean, so that caused a tsunami that went over a whole city! Thousands of people died. Hundreds of thousands evacuated.The earthquake lasted for a very long time too. The center of the earthquake was only a few miles away. Some whirlpools happened to be there too.Even a ship was in a large whirlpool! That's what I know about Japan's earthquake and tsunami!
