Yesterday I watched the movie Rio. The movie is about a blue macaw named Blu. Now, there's a strange problem with Blu. He should be able to fly like the other tropical birds. Since he was a chick, Blu was scared to hop from his nest, spread out his wings, and fly to and fro. Blu was the last male of his kind. There was also a last female of his kind. Her name was Jewel. Near the end, Jewel broke her wing and she was falling toward the ocean (dropped from a plane). Then Blu jumped after her and caught her. He extended his wings and turned the free fall into a steep dive and swooped back on to land (which he had never done before).  A few weeks later, Jewel's wing healed and they had chicks.

Rio is one of the best movies I've ever seen because it has beautiful animation, lovely music, and great sounds. I like Rio so much, I want to watch it a gazillion times! There is just 1 thing I don't like in it:Jewel and Blu mate and have chicks. Then the chicks mate each other? They aren't going to mate thier own family members, are they? Family members don't mate or marry each other. That's what I have to say about Rio.
