The Adventures Of Alvin The Eagle(Chapter 24:Fred The Flying Fox)
on Sunday, July 24, 2011

On their way, they took a break in the Philippine Islands. They came inside of a cave to rest. Then Boxwood heard the sound of flapping wings. He looked at Helen, Alvin and Chuck. But they were just napping. Boxwood warned them all. Then a bat came into view. It was enormous.

"Hello," it said. "I'm Fred the Flying Fox. Flying foxes are the world's largest bats. My species of flying fox is the largest kind. It's called 'golden crowned giant flying fox fruit bat'. Long, name huh?" "Come with us, uh, Fred!" exclaimed Gabe. Then he whispered to Alvin-"Was I supposed to do that?" "Yes." "Good."

Then they continued the way home. Sailing back home. This time, they brought food. Fred brought fruit for him and Boxwood. Chuck brought a big bag of chips and a box of french fries. The rest of them just had to fish for fish since they were at sea.
