The Milky Way,our galaxy has nine planets. #1. Mercury is 3,032 miles across and has no moons. #2. Neptune is 7,521 miles across and also has no moons. #3 earth is 7,926 miles across and has 1 moon (the moon). #4 Mars is 4,222 miles across and has 2 moons. #5. Jupiter is 88,846 miles across and has at least 63 moons. #6. Saturn is 74,900 miles across and has 60 moons. #7. Uranus is 31,770 miles across and has 27 moons. #8. Neptune is 30,780 miles across and has 13 moons. #9. Pluto is 1,400 miles across and has 3 moons.

The sun is in the middle of the Solar System (the Milky Way), it is a star, like other stars in space!
