Here are two ways to eat.

Chinese people make slurping and loud crunching  sounds when they eat. American people eat quietly and only make crunching sounds.

I think if you want to eat like Chinese people, you could, but just don't do it too much. And if you're eating like American people, there wouldn't be a problem.
